Invisible parts being outlined?

Okay so I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, if not I apologize. Here’s my issue:
I’m using a facial animation rig, and for some reason when I put a highlight on the character it outlines the transparent parts that make up the face. How can I get rid of this?

is the part 100% transparent? (you could delete the highlight instance from the decal (or just make the highlight for everything else)

Try enabling “Collision Fidelity” from the gear icon on the top right corner of your viewport. This will tell you if there is a visible part there.

Doesn’t matter. Any part above 0.01 transparency won’t be affected by the highlight instance.
