Use http://ip-api.com/json/ as a alternive, works exactly the same!

Ipconfig is down due to cloudflare issues, its protecting the domain falsely and its been down for some time.

NOTE TO NOOBIES:

You can never get the location of the client, This is used to get the location of the ROBLOX SERVER. And visiting this url with your browser will return {"status":"fail","message":"SSL unavailable for this endpoint, order a key at https://members.ip-api.com/"}

Yeah, I don’t see why anyone would need to get the IP of someone playing a Roblox game. Roblox does that for you, pretty sure a service lets you get the country they’re in.

I use similar thing to get server location.

These IP websites are used for fetching the server’s location, not for getting a player’s IP address.
It isn’t possible to get a player’s IP address since LocalScripts cannot do HTTP requests. If someone manages to do it then it’ll be a major bug.

it lets you get the roblox SERVERS location, You can NEVER acess the clients location.

Yes, I remembered that after I posted it, but I wasn’t at my computer to edit my response.
