IRISH NATIONAL ARMY 1922
The National Army, sometimes unofficially referred to as the Free State army or the Regulars, was the army of the Irish Free State from January 1922 until October 1924. Its role in this period was defined by its service in the Irish Civil War, in defence of the institutions established by the Anglo-Irish Treaty.
This handbook contains all the guidelines that all Free State Volunteers shall follow this set of rules at all times when you are representing the Irish National Army 1922.
Show respect to your fellow volunteers, as well as every single member of the group, regardless of their gender, race, or anything that might make them feel judged.
Toxicity is not allowed in the slightest, if seen with a toxic behavior you will be prosecuted, these prosecutions go from demotions to bans or complete blacklists.
While on duty, you must call all Officer + by their desired pronoun, depending on their gender, you shall only call Officer + by their rank if you are above them. Enlists shall be called by their rank, nickname, or username, calling an Enlist by their pronoun is frowned upon.
1. Example:
In the case of an Officer:
- Ma’am, will there be an infantry training today?
- Captain, lead your squad north west.
For any enlist:
- Sergeant, have you seen the General?
- Nice to see you again, Corporal!
Maintain maturity while on duty, you shall use the proper use of your tools, as well as your uniform. Use your grammar to the best of your ability. Be professional, specially when speaking to a higher rank. Breaking of this rule can lead to a demotion.
Always follow reasonable orders from NCOs +, this means Staff Sergeant +, Officers and HICOM.
Always report rule breakers, if a member of the Army does not follow this handbook you shall report it to a high ranked officer, though always remember to follow the Chain of Command, only report to the smallest high ranked officer availible, not the the highest rank. The Chain of Command works as follow:
- If there is a problem contact the lowest ranking officer availible.
- Never contact any general directly, contact their secretaries and they
shall direct you to them.
No exploiting, if found exploiting, you shall be blacklisted from everything having to do with the National Army.
