ahh yes, we love vibecoded anticheats, i pentested your AC, it’s horrible and clearly vibecoded. no idea how you got redliner to use it, whatever the game’s coded horribly anyway
Is using an authoritative server the best way to prevent cheating?
You can create your own anti cheat module for example if you game uses hunger, you can add a function in your module if it detects continuous spam in certain amount of time you can kick the player

the website looks like it was made by claude

and even if this is real whats the point of using this over the server authority toggle which prevents most of the exploits
While I’m not gonna say that his anti-cheat is actually good, I will say that Server Authority is not an anti-cheat but an entirely separate network model that requires developers to completely rework their entire game to accommodate it. It only solves physics-based exploits, not any other exploits this one claims to protect against which don’t influence physics.
but most of exploits are for movement,
even if its both client and server sided couldnt the client side just spoof the information sent to the server side part of anticheat anyway?
The goal of the client side anti-cheat is not being secured if the attacker can just spoof the insides of the payload but the collective decision. Imagine this:
There are 10 students in the class and one teach which is you. Lets say you want to know what student 1 does 1 second ago? Student 1 says he/she sleeping but the rest 9 students says he/she playing. Thats when you know that student 1 is lying.
Though the approach is effective but its main trade off is bandwidth. Imagine players constantly reporting to the server that the legit payload gets processed alongside anti-cheat gives the game feels delayed or unresponsive. Other is that the hacker can spawn bots alongside him depends on the exploit the attacker wants to commit. There are many but that 2 is most likely the huge trade somewhat known common.
@AwakenShenron Good anticheat, keep up the good work, what does it detect and how much?
bypass the ink game client-server handshake. then talk ![]()
No thanks, I don’t cheat. That, in fact, would be a violation of Roblox’s own Terms of Service. Anyone who mentions cheating in this forum will be personally reported by me. Though, Ink Game’s hooks are childsplay. So please use a better example.
this is how NOT to maintain a thread of your service you try to sell ![]()
