Is building in 2:1 ratio good for performance

My game is filled with a lot of assets, I noticed building assets 2x the size actually gives more accurate shadows, but the same time it also reduces the amount of assets rendered in full quality.

Can you explain why you’re okay with changing the proportions of your game for performance sake? Do you intend to script a new movement system?

No I don’t intend to add any sort of system, I actually was building in 2:1 ratio by accident, for the reason that my assets were easier built in that ratio, especially with the measurements… given I am recreating a real life architecture. I just want to get a clarification if it’s a good choice that I should stick with?

I would suggest scaling them back down to the correct scale and then decreasing the detail.
