So, is it against the ToS?
As far as I know it got added to the ToS a while back that it is against the rules, however people still do it, why would discord servers with thousands to tens of thousands of members that make hundreds of thousands of robux a month just stop because of roblox ToS.
I would assume that the rule is still in place, pretty sure it is not it’s own rule but goes as an example under another rule.
Short answer: Assuming it is still active, then yes, it is against the ToS, however it is still widely done.
I can’t seem to find anything in the Roblox ToS saying about selling assets for robux.
Don’t know if the part “Developers may not use off-platform services or products to sell on-platform items” in the community standard is the correct part, however it could be that one. As said before, unless Roblox removed the rule against it, then it is not allowed, don’t think they would remove it, Roblox want as much as possible to happen on the platform to make them more money.
A lot of the servers also sell for USD, which doesn’t earn Roblox any money.
