Is it better to script cars manually or follow physics?

Hi, by physics I mean like physical suspensions using springs, car moves using wheels, etc. or is it better to script cars in way where the wheels don’t move, and it’s actually just the script?(basically just everything scripted without physical stuff.) I’m making a kart game that has curved tracks and drifting cars, so would that affect which is better?
What I mean by curved tracks:

I’d try to script that out. Normally I’d say use physical suspensions but, they will never make that track. In fact I’d use both for this …

Also great job on them curves. I’m sure that took many, many attempts.
