Is it better to use Image grids rather than Individual Textures (Performance)

I’m not sure how important it would be but let’s say I wanted to format a Tileset of textures for UI Elements. Wouldn’t it be significantly better than if I just uploaded each texture individually? The way I would do this is to store the image in frames that clip the descendants or have the coordinates mapped out in script as a way of mimicking Tileset behavior. Naturally the limitation of the texture resolution in roblox is a thing and I’m not sure how this would affect behavior on mobile devices that compress the images further to save memory

Would like to hear others thoughts or experiences with this.
