Is it OK to bump a post if you have an update to share?

As there are rules against bumping, I have a question.
In the case Roblox updated whatever the topic was talking about and I wanted to share, can I bump a 3-months old post that was also made by me?
As there’s information to share and it isn’t just a dummy post like “bump” intended to get it to the top of the list, is that permitted or should I just not touch a 3 months old post and instead edit the first post?

I regularly do something similar on feature requests / bug reports if I feel they have been forgotten / have become relevant again, sometimes with these posts being 2-3 years old, so long as you have something useful to have there is rarely a problem with it, however this only goes for some categories, like I wouldn’t bump an announcement / discussion post that’s 2 years old

Yes. Bumping and providing new information to a topic doesn’t break any rules.

It’s ok as long as you provide important information for the post.
