Is it okay to share a Discord Link when contacting an applicant on talent hub?

Hey everyone!

I’ve got a quick but important question: is it okay to share a Discord link (or similar platform link) when reaching out to an applicant on Talent Hub, to provide a smoother and more efficient experience? Or does this fall under the “redirecting users off the platform” rule, which is not allowed?

Would appreciate any clarification on this!

Thanks!

Pretty sure it should be allowed. (Since you outta be 13+ to use talent hub, devforum, and Discord)

If you’re at the hiring stage, maybe indicate beforehand by stating that the applicant “should have a valid Discord account to join a server/groupchat for discussion” or something like that, within the job description.

I also did a quick google search and found no proper ‘rules’ for the talent hub, so I just assume Devforum rules apply - You could be hiring someone who works between your GitHub Repo & Roblox simultaneously, after all.

Edit: Just some material evidence too, if you want to read into the community standards

Lastly, Hope that helps, and happy hiring! :]

That makes sense. Gotta be real careful though, haha

I’ll definitely look deeper into the community standards too. In case i miss anything.

Thanks for the help! :raising_hands:
