Hello! I really want to use React Lua however I want to use it with my existing Roblox game.
Is there a plugin or literally anything that will convert my existing Roblox UI to React Lua?
I know I dissed on React Lua in the past but I really see its benefits after watching a video on why you should use it. Plus I am a SwiftUI engineer outside of Roblox.
I worked really hard on my UI engine in 2022 and its still in use in 2026, the longest I have supported a UI engine for!
Obviously I wouldn’t ship the UI as is once converted, I would modify a TON of stuff, but I really want to make UI with ease!
For games specifically, I don’t recommend React-style UI. Games benefit from explicit, predictable, low-overhead code, and React introduces indirection that doesn’t help performance or control.
