Is it Possible to Make a Click Detector Affect an Entire Model?

the title

if you parent it to a part, it only affects that one part, if i parent it to a model will that make it affect the entire model? if not, is there another way? without having to make a big “hitbox” part

As far as I’m aware, yes, it will. I do that quite a lot too.
