Is it worthwhile to port my game to mobile?

Hey. So I’m developing a cartoony shooter game with semi-realistic features. I can’t decide if I want to put my game on mobile though. I’m not sure if it’s worth it, since most of the mobile fanbase seems to play games like Adopt Me! and Royale High. Plus, it’s extra scripting and I’d have to optimize for mobile and such. Do you guys think the potential extra players is worth the pain?

By the way, this is my first forum post. If it’s in the wrong place, please tell me.

Thanks!

I say don’t put it on mobile until you get a decent amount of visits and constant people playing it. Most games do this such as Bad Business.

Shooter games on mobile devices just aren’t very effective. Maybe for short periods of time people will play, but it’s unlikely you will have a high level of recurring mobile users.

Instead, be sure to LOCALIZE, it’s extremely important as it can open the door to a vast world of other players. Most likely much more than mobile.
