Is minor decapitation acceptable for 13+ games?

Just wondering, I want my game to be 13+. It’s a medieval combat game, but I want to add some minor decapitation such as a limb getting chopped off. It would be pretty mild, not any crazy realistic effects or anything and I’d be using it more for gameplay value than anything else.

But from what I’ve read / interpreted, the game would be put to 16+ automatically which would greatly decrease my demographic and I wouldn’t trade that for the decapitation. Would I get away with it and or have I interpreted wrong?

Adding gore even in simplest form will increase maturity rating regardless. Previously you could get the game 13+ but because Roblox changing their rules, its now 16+ and not 13+. .

But anywho from what you describe, it should be Low-Med maturity rating and will most likely be rated for 16+ players.

Hope this helps

I think it depends a lot on how the moderator is feeling that day. I am planning to make my game’s gore/blood heavily discolored but have unlimited/procedural dismemberment, and just hoping it will qualify for 13+.

If it doesn’t have gore, then it would be acceptable. Otherwise, it’ll probably be 18+ (not 16+).
