I’ve spent the past few months working on my new game, but I don’t think it’s going well. A lot of players are leaving as soon as they join. Is my game bad or…?

the text is really glitchy for me but that’s probably a roblox problem. that’s probably a reason why players are leaving

Yeah I’ve been looking everywhere for a fix, but I haven’t found a solution. It’s sad that there’s nothing I can do about it considering I just spent a lot of money to advertise and it’s going to waste.

Do you think there is anything else wrong with the game? People are leaving a lot. I just added a settings menu to disable popups but idk if that’s going to help.

maybe the text is buggy because there’s too much of it. maybe roblox isn’t made to handle that much text with that many colors and such im not sure. other than the text the game seemed fine

Could be a client memory issue, maybe check Task Manager. With 1/~20GB of RAM usage, and 1.5/~5.5GB of VRAM usage, I had little flickering.
I might be wrong, but that’s the closest I can come to for a cause. However I have met this issue recently in a different game, so it might be an engine bug.

Could you try rejoining the game and see if it’s a little better? I had to remove 99% of the UIStrokes in the game and it seemed to do something but now the game looks low quality.

I wouldn’t say the game is bad, but very overwhelming.

i tried it on a few devices including my phone and it happens on all of them so probably engine bugs

yep u fixed it for me anyway. i dont see hardly any flickering text. there was a very little bit but it mostly stayed solid and would only flicker every few seconds and that was only for like one line of text. whats most important is that all the text is readable now

A little bit of UI work and it could be quiet enjoyable. Maybe a bit more rounded edges and more social aspect to the game could go a long way.

The game is not bad just as someone else said its too overwhelming. The gui is too big and its too expressive. Maybe bring down the gui a bit and maybe people will join.
