Currently, I’ve been remaking a game of mine for almost a year now, and I’d just like to see if it’s ready for advertising. Please give any suggestions or feedback on how the game could be better or more user friendly, as new user engagement will be crucial once I start advertising. If the game concept itself just doesn’t really support enough engagement, then that’s fine. Just let me know what I should do, I probably won’t be upset by feedback.
I enjoyed the merging for a bit but then it became a bit repetitive. Maybe start by being more generous with the coins?
I also did not clearly understand I had to move my mony into the truck area when the disaster happened, got it after being burnt to a crisp
I appreciated the originality.
Have more copper coins so that they start colliding more randomly because the dexterity level to make them merge is a bit much for a newbie (on top of that I am on a laptop with a trackpad…)
This game seems like it could be really popular, it just needs a few updates:
I don’t really understand the updates thing, what does voting mean?
It’s quite difficult to push the objects, it would be nice if it had some type of tool or vehicle to push them with. Cars pushing coins into something is actually an insanely good game idea wth
I see there’s a saving button. What does that do?
Maybe make the buttons on the left side not hide in a vertical menu, it’s pretty hard to know that they exist.
The wait time for the truck is really long, I feel like after a truck leaves a new truck should spawn instantly
People in the server vote for the next upgrade. I can just say “Select” instead since it mostly just chooses one on its own due to nobody voting.
There is gear that can help push the objects, however by default they should be pretty easy to push, especially since climbing is disabled. Do you think this might be due to server lag? I’ve seen instances where roblox takes a few seconds to “initialize” physics and everything is a little laggy before hand.
Opens the saving menu where you can load your own save.
Does not seem like an upgrade to reduce this helped that much. I’ll have to adjust this then.
You have to load a slot before being able to save it, but I am potentially look into making it automatically save the first public server you’re in to a save slot.
Since the first 5 minutes make it or break it for most players in terms of longevity some sort of simple tutorial explaining what to do would be great, as I have no idea what I’m doing or the purpose of it either. Another complaint would be that the coins move too fast, and I couldn’t get mine to actually roll to the truck which I think is what I need to do? It was quite unclear and ended up giving up on it because of such problems.
That’s rather strange, it should definitely pop up a tutorial notification and stay there until you interact with it. I think I know the issue and I’ll go ahead and fix it
