Looking for ways I can improve my games UI and if it is user-friendly or not? (Both main menu and battle UI.)

The UI seems fine and easy to use to me. Simplistic and all and the theme is very consistent.
Although one thing I would recommend is probably make model images (make crates/coins and you know, what you did for the blocks) for the coin shop, and add a section specifically for the coin shop if were trying to increase sales instead of just having it being recommended if we don’t have enough coins to purchase crates.
You can click on your current coins at the top to open the UI as well.
Still looking for feedback on the UI, what do you think of it and could it be changed?
Also how complicated is it and do you think kids would understand it?
First thing I noticed: the banana covers the “S” in “Studio.” I had to big-brain a little to figure out what it was saying.
Second thing I noticed: the intro soundtrack is the exact same as that Deathrun game. Not exactly good or bad, I suppose, but it was the second thing to come to mind.
Third thing: The main menu appears, and I am utterly confused. The first thing that grabs my eye is the shop menu. But why is the game prompting me to buy things? Do I even have money yet? I go to click the “Units” tab, and find… cards? I assumed that meant the character I would be playing as. Like I said, it was just confusing overall, and I didn’t feel naturally guided by the UI’s layout.
So to answer your question in this thread’s title: no. It is not user-friendly, yet. Unfortunately, I can’t give any specific details on how you could improve it. My only suggestion would be to look at what modern games of a similar genre do in terms of UI, and compare their menus to your own.
Hope this helped!
Since it seems like you are actually looking for feedback and not trying to show off…
The UI lacks subtlety. No one would know to click on their cards to view stats unless you included easy to miss details like hover-over effects. This is very important for a younger audience, who will be quick to leave a game if it feels overwhelming or confusing. Especially when it seems like more experienced players have something that they don’t.
I also found the in-game UI incredibly clunky. When combined with the rocky gameplay it made for a slightly disorienting experience. Heres my corrections:
Perhaps some polish on gameplay would be useful, but I’m not here to judge gameplay and you didn’t write this post for gameplay feedback.
The end screen was also slower than i’d prefer, which wasn’t that bad but I feel it could get repetitive very quickly. Remember that you are dealing with a younger audience with a shorter attention span.
Overall I like the UI. It has a very charming style and I think that with a little bit of polish you could make it much easier to understand.
Would making it so the shop and cards UI is not open and just having the deploy button when you first join help? Like this:
I want players to first click the deploy button and then as they die and respawn slowly explore the other guis, how would I do that?
(You can then click the buttons at the top to open the uis.)
Thanks for the feedback, feedback related stuff is supposed to go in Cool Creations now for some reason.

I’ll go ahead and make those changed to the battle UI you suggested!
Also how do you think it could be made easier to understand?
I think one idea would be to make it more obvious that your character’s loadout is already selected. You could display the selected card below the tabs (similar, sort of, to the way your character is displayed in Overwatch when choosing a hero).
For me, personally, when I try out any game with equipment, I typically try to search the menu to see if I have any other items. Unless you were to place a sign saying “Get into the game!” or something like that for beginners, I know I, at least, would spend a minute exploring the UI before actually playing.
Would maybe having a outline and a shiny effect on the troop thats currently selected help?
That, and having the Unit tab open by default instead of the shop tab.
Still looking for feedback on my UI as I have not released the game yet!
