Is my idea good?

You survive in a “lost” world filled with monsters - worms and humanoids with bugs that kill you and take your items.

PVP
Along the same path as you go monsters, so close, but far away. Once you become the prey make sure you use all of your hero’s senses. “Others” not only want your blood, but also your valuables for their own purposes.

PVE
The city is full of them! There are ammunition and weapons all over the city, probably one of them lost it. KILL THEM FIRST.

Build Your Base
In the city, you can find an elevator that will take you to a safe place. The elevator is disposable, if someone enters it and leaves, it will not come back. In this place, others cannot attack you, and you cannot attack them, but here they can break down the door to your apartment and rob you at night, defend yourself or rob someone first.
You can install traps that will protect your apartment. In this place, you can also exchange with a merchant whose goods are replenished daily.

How its?

Seems like an interesting survival game. Building is always a nice touch.

I’m not so sure about no pvp in them though, if they can rob your home then you should be able to defend yourself directly.

As they are more likely to rob you while you’re away, this wont affect gameplay too much while avoiding frustration as someone enters your home.

Is it good? It’s quite generic, but will definitely be welcomed if made to the finest quality. Better than Apocalypse Rising 2, than Dawn Of Aurora…

It will not be easy.
Therefore,

Idea originality 6/10
Idea chance of success 9/10
Idea feasibility 1/10

Yeah, I’m stealing it. :+1: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Right now your idea is very vague. Try fleshing out the idea more. For example, what weapons can you find and use against the enemies? How is combat like? How would you counter/react to enemy attacks, what mobility do you have, how complex are these enemies, are there multiple, are they big, etc.
Currently we don’t know if the game is RPG-esque with stats you can upgrade, or if it’s a battle-royale type game where you find guns randomly in an open area and use them against enemies (with you losing everything on death). So right now, it’s hard to fully judge the idea (there are too many ways to execute the idea)
Otherwise, the idea is a bit interesting. PvE might be a nice change of pace compared to the many PvP-focused hardcore games on roblox. Keep fleshing it out and it might become something that’s actually pretty good!

It’s a top-down game with a day and night cycle. During the day you go to the city, every day it is generated in a new way. And you search it for weapons, melee/ranged combat, bats, knives, pistols, machine guns. At night, you need to quickly find an elevator … Otherwise, pitch darkness will come, and all that will save you is your luck.

I think the cycle of the game is pretty interesting. Scavenging in a newly generated city at day while being careful of players, rushing to your home before night while still being careful of anyone who might rob you (or deciding to do the robbing yourself). I think the idea is pretty good, although I worry about the endgame. There should be something that the players want to achieve or grind for. I.e, maybe furniture for housing or you can use the powerful guns and armor you’ve scavenged to do maybe dungeons or something. Just something for the people who have mastered the game and don’t worry about survival.
So all in all, in my opinion I think the idea is pretty cool and, with a lot of content, could be very fun.

In the game, it will be possible to equip the apartment with furniture elements, and other things, it will be possible to plant plants. You can improve weapons, exchange with a merchant

I think there is opportunity for good gameplay here, but I’d recommend keeping scope and scale of the game small. There’s lots of large open-world games like these, so having smaller, faster-paced gameplay would set it apart from similar games in the category.

Yes, gameplay gonna be really fast, i don’t wanna make it openworld, because, why i need elevators then?, or anything else…

For more information in case you didn’t know, 4x4x8 said you need to quickly find an elevator otherwise pitch darkness will come.

Yes, but honestly, a lot of games have this aspect, a safehouse, such as nuclear shelters, and most popular ones that’s against heat and cold.

True, I just wanted to make sure. I guess going into an elevator to avoid pitch black isn’t so common right…
