Is ROBLOX's "Continue" inaccurate / misleading?

To clarify I’m talking about the continue playing games.

I’ve noticed games that I have not played for months begin to appear further up my continue list despite not being played for months, they are being listed in front of games that I have at least played a week ago.

Examples: (Orange dot, played months/year ago)

“Are You Sure?” I had played around a week ago, whilst I last played Blade Ball almost 4 months ago now.

My question is what’s going on? Is this some bias algorithm, is this a bug? Continue is suppose to reflect the games you have played last, in order.

The system seems quite flawed taking in factors that the algorithm takes, boosting games up your continue list so you are likely to replay them.

What are your thoughts on this?

(Don’t judge my choice of games I rarely play games!)

There isnt an algorithm, too my knowledge, the things displayed in the continue tab are ordered based on what you played last.

By that I mean if you play lets say game A, game A gets put at the top of the list, then you play game B, which is now at the top of the list. A year pases and you’ve only played game B, yet game A remains on the list, as games only get removed from the list, when you’ve played more than like 30 or so games.

Something like that.

Something that I just thought of that makes way more sense then what I just said is:
the continue tab displays the last 30 or so games you’ve played. (idk if its actually 30, theres usually just a lot of games on the list so were just gonna say its 30).

So yeah, hope that clears things up. If you meant something else feel free to tell me!

This is happening to me, I thought I was going crazy, started to worry that someone other than me has been on my account. It also looks like some games that have been taken off of continue appeared again aswell. Im guessing this a bug and should be reported, since its only just recently started to happen.

I understand how the continue section works, i also know i haven’t played these games in a WHILE, they are not ordered how they are suppose to be.

The continue section is false.

So you’ve played a lot of games in between the time you’ve played lets say blade ball?
I was under the assumption you didnt play that much in that time cause of this:

But I understand I could be wrong to make the assumption.
If it is the case that you have played a bunch of games in between the time of playing blade ball, then yes there is probably an issue. I cant confirm cause mine looks pretty accurate, but theres always a chance!

I do rarely play games however i know what games i have played including the order, I would also know if i haven’t played a game in over a month.

What’s confusing is now its different to what it was yesterday??

Today:

Yesterday:

Notice how “Scooter Obby” just disappeared, Circle Evolution appeared, tiny tanks disappeared.

(arrows are the order what i played in, not where they should be currently.)

Ngl, this is weird. My continue page shows the games I’ve played and in the right order (as far as I can remember)

Edit: now that I’m actually thinking of the order I last played some of the games, yeah they do seem a bit out of order

Its not something i noticed straight away but overtime i’m seeing random games i haven’t played in a while start popping up when i haven’t played them.

Something fishy here :eyes:

Each refresh changes it for me, so it seems.
