Is the iron cross from WW1 allowed? if not, what can I use instead of it?

Hello, I’m making a WW1 game and need to add the iron cross to the german infantry and german buildings as decoration. Is it allowed?
If it isn’t allowed, then what other symbols can I include instead of the iron cross?

seeing as the modern bundeswehr still uses it, it should be fine

if it’s not, just use a regular cross (no flaring on the arms, just a +)

Yes you should, but I’m pretty sure it’s allowed to use it to represent the Bundeswehr.

To be on the safe side, just use a normal metal +
