Simply put, my game isn’t the type of game children can (or will) enjoy. Is there a way to manually set a minimum age requirement, beyond the maturity and compliance label?
why would you want to block children from playing a game even if they have access to games with that maturity? just let them play it, even if you think they won’t enjoy it.

I love playing my game with friends and chatting with random players (it’s a battlegrounds with a unique system), but frequently children drop in and get really confused, so it feels a bit like playing in a daycare, lol

you could try to sort different agegroups into different servers.
