Is there a way to find out who created a place in a group?

Does Roblox have an API or a way to find out who the specific creator of a place in a group is?

I don’t think there is an endpoint or API that allows you to fetch a specific player who created a place in a group.

If you use game.CreatorId, it will just return the groups’ ID.

-- If this is ran in a group game,

local creatorId = game.CreatorId
print(creatorId) -- Will return a groups' ID.

You may have to look deeper on the internet. Otherwise, just use game.CreatorId for single-creator games.

edit: whoops, I linked game.roblox.com but fixed it

if you can get the group id, you can make a request to this endpoint (groups.roblox.com/)

and use the second get method

Check audit log for publish experience or “create asset”. It should show the first user to publish it or the actual user under the asset category of the audit log that created the experience. But you may be scrolling pages for a while if your group has had a lot of activity.
