Is there any way to play sounds in the world space without parenting them to a 3D object?

I want to be able to organize my audio, but it seems like if I don’t put the audio under a part of some sort, it will just play the sound at the same volume as the audio preview, unaffected by distance from its intended location.

Is there any way around this?

They also work from attachments, if you wanted to use those instead for some reason.

Other than that, there’s no documented way to play it in world space instead of global space.

You could get the distance between the point the sound would be played and your character’s position and set the volume accordingly.

That still doesn’t give the panning effect though.
