“minecraft with guns” thats about it, player is in an unknown planet…??? and is trying to survive, they spawn with generators which generate resources and allow them to expand, and they can fight other players, thats about it
OK, i guess. But your game shouldn’t have “minecraft” in the name.
no
this is a bad idea, just too normal and not attrative at all since it sounds like bedwar but ‘guns’
Good idea, but
is the copyrighted name this will be terminated, I can help your game lets look this ideas:
-Round system game
1:Team game
- A: Every player on random planets and they have teams, they are battling for something [You can write a story for the target]
- B: Every player on random planets[Again 3X] has teams. Players can destroy generators, when the last generator is destroyed the player’s planet destroyed and he/she loses the game. When the timer ends win which team has the most generators.
2: Player-oriented game
- A: Every player on random planets[Again], but they didn’t have any team. Just 1 player can win who has the most kills [Deathmatch]
- B: Every player on random planets[Again 2X], but they didn’t have any team. Just 1 player can win who has the important object.
- C: Every player on random planets[Again 3X], but they didn’t have any team. Players can destroy generators, when the last generator is destroyed the player’s planet destroyed and he/she loses the game. When the timer ends win who has the most generator.
You can add these ideas, also you can add your ideas then, I have some feature ideas
- Tile-based game and players can add block or clear blocks (Difficult to code)
- Weapons can destroy tiles or damage tiles (Difficult 2X to code)
- Random map select or players can vote for maps (Medium to code)
- Players loot weapons on the planet or a shop NPC sell weapons and anything (Medium to code)
yall the title is not minecraft with guns- its just a joke my friend said
I’d wager that “Minecraft with guns” is a simple way to explain the broad concept of the game you want to create. I’ll spare you the whole “Minecraft is copyrighted” thing since the focus here shouldn’t be on the name or example but rather on the actual concept.
…sure, why not? Build/resource management survival games are in no shortage both on and off the platform and they can be fairly engaging especially when there’s a goal to work towards, be it some end game play or battling with other players. I think it’s worth the pursuit.
Even if you don’t add the full “Minecraft” aspect of the game by having players also build up on and deconstruct parts of your world, simple resource harvesting and combining for better arsenal makes for a project that can net good retention. You may be interested in Balanced Craftwars Overhaul for a simple concept in this regard. You craft gear, fight enemies, harvest resources, all for better gear. It’s a solid core gameplay loop and the statistics speak for themselves on how well it worked out.
This sounds a lot like the very famous game, No Man’s Sky.
I personally like the idea and I feel like some people will too, but I feel like the majority on the platform won’t as they lean more into roleplaying/simulator games nowadays.
If it was heavily worked on and made very perfectly, It might be able to get some audience and become popular.
Either way, don’t give up! You never know, maybe a game you thought is silly will become a front-page game one day!
-Good luck.
