Is this against ToS?

I want to create a game where people can enter IDs on a GUI and purchase catalog items through the game so I could get 10% of the purchase. Would this be against ToS?

I am pretty sure it is not against the ToS since I have seen and played many many games that have GUIs where a player may purchase any un-limited item on the catalog. They have not been taken down and one I used to play in 2018 is still alive. Assuming that those are not against the ToS, I am almost certain that your idea wouldn’t violate the ToS.

Isn’t the reason for the 10% cut if a player buys a catalog item from your game to encourage users to make games that sell catalog items?

Pretty fair point, I just wanted to hear from other developers. Thanks!

I think you know the in-game avatar view feature. You can buy directly both roblox-made and UGC catalog items and earn the 10% of the earnings. This is completely allowed.

Yes I’m pretty sure that it is allowed and it isn’t against the ToS…
