I’ve had this idea of a roleplay game similar to CSOM or ATF but instead its isometric.
What is your guy’s opinion on this?
Should I do it not?

It looks pretty good so far!
Seems like a pretty cool idea!
I haven’t seen anything like this on studio yet. Very cool!
For what it is, it looks good, but I would like R15 and some more animations. I also think isometric games are limited, especially if your game includes a gun.
For what it is now, I think there could be a few improvements for what is shown in the video:
Then I think this game will be perfect.
I made the road that way to give it a more rundown old look.
It feels a bit gimmicky, not providing that much difference from a normal camera perspective. I’d expect this style from something like a dungeon crawler, or a top-down shooter.
Although, if you think there’s things you can do to make it work, then go for it.
Absolutely, if you’re going with isometric, run with it, go all the way! Create an aiming system that snaps to targets with input thresholds, or make aiming act more isometric, to be plain. You’re working toward the accessibility of the feature itself, you have guns. All platforms (or target platforms) should be able to aim and not think twice!
Keep in mind, hackers WILL zoom out and snipe people, limit the gun range in some manner!!
Very great idea! More people need to have an innovative and creative mind to steer away from all the repetitive games. This can and will be something great by putting the right forces in motion.
