Theirs currently an issue with the thumbnail for the item “Clockwork’s Headphones” with it facing towards the top of the item compared to all the other items in its series which face towards the R/L side of the headphones as shown below
Expected behavior
Update the thumbnail for “Clockwork’s Headphones” to face towards the R/L side of the item.
Honestly the Clockwork’s Headphones thumbnail looks better than the other ones, even without seeing the L/R. It’s one of the most easily-recognizable/iconic thumbnails on the entire platform. I would not want to see it changed, it would just be confusing.

Thumbnails should really only be altered if they are strikingly “unideal”. There is nothing wrong with this one that necessitates a change. The 3D viewer solves this “issue”.
To be fair he is right to appeal an inconsistency with the clockwork series thumbnail, and the 3d viewer only solves this once you click to view the item.
There isn’t a general consistency with any of them? The angles are not the same. The positions are not the same. Some of them show the L and some of them show the R.
There are many item series that do not share consistent thumbnails and they really don’t have to be. See: Shaggys, Sparkletime Fedoras, Dominus, Chronos, etc.
Your right I didnt notice that some of them show the “R” and others the “L”, but still all of them are on the side while this doesnt show any of the 2 letters at all
I know they’re scared of changing any clockwork stuff after the incident
Leave it how it is, many of us already prefer the original.
Hi - the camera isn’t in the exact same angle but seeing as it is not significantly distorted, we will leave as-is.
