So I’m currently building a homestore for my clothing group A.C. Designs. I just modeled a clothing hanger but for some reason, the mesh is “partially Transparent” I guess you could say. I have tried flipping it’s normals, but it didn’t change the issue. Here are some images:
It looks like you’re having “normals” issues. Go into blender and go into edit mode. Press “a”, then the space bar. Search up “recalculate normals”. If this doesn’t work, select individual faces that are invisible and press space, then search up “flip normals”. I hope this helps.
Yes I have tried flipping the Normals after recalculating them. It just brings me back to the start with the whole thing “semi-transparent.” That tiny cube where it’s having the issue, well I just selected the vertices and clicked F to fill that cube… Does that have anything to do with the normals issue?
I flipped the Normals on that one face, and nothing has changed from that. I’m no Blender expert or anything, but is this only happening due to the fact that I filled that extra space by selecting the vertices and clicking F? That doesn’t seem right to me, but I’ll try to mess around with it more.
Wait, I do have one more solution, but this will make your textures clip in Roblox and mess up reflections. You can separate that individual face, and apply the solidify modifier onto it, and mess around with the offset to make it uniform with the rest of the mesh.
After messing with it, I got it fixed! It’s not an ideal solution, but I extruded the right side of the hanger and brought it to the bottom end of the hook. Doing this, it just hid the little square where the normals weren’t fixed. Here’s the finished product:
