When trying to use any of the PartOperations (eg, Union, Negate etc), an error pop-up appears stating an error for code “-34”. I’ve tried rebooting studio, using other meshes, and trying in new files - the same error appears.

the error means that there is an unsupported part that you are trying to use for a CSG Operation.
If you want to attach the parts you are trying to union, we could take a look at it. In general though, MeshParts are not supported yet for CSG. (rbxl or rbxm)
(Additionally, we need to fix that error message to make clearer what is going on 
)
