Hello there, we are a development group called “ITD” (Indie Tycoon Development), which is a group name that we’re not serious with, so we prefer to stick with ITD.
In this thread, I will be explaining the information and rules about inquiring a developer in this group.
Please expand the folds if wish to read information regarding about a subject in this thread.
Background Information
Around 01/08/19, I started planning out a development inquiry “service”.
I also announced it at the same day, although it didn’t really gain much attention, apart from one person who made me spark up with this idea.
Inquiry Information
What is this all about? You might ask.
If you didn’t already get the title and the aforementioned inquiry “service”, don’t worry.
The new Development Inquiry Service (now mentioned as DIS), is a group “service” where you can request a developer from our group, for them to assist you in your development project(s).
You may choose a developer in our group to assist you with building, or scripting.
Since we haven’t sorted the developer’s roles yet and only define them as “contributors”. I recommend you to post a request in the group wall prior to requesting a developer.
Speaking of the group wall, all new requests go here.
Just include “I want to inquire for a developer” in your post, and we will contact you back as soon as possible. Please make sure that you are able to be messaged privately after posting, as we do not want to flood the group wall.
After that, the person who contacted you may provide a list of currently active and inactive developers, and their main profession. Currently, we only mention them as “builders” and “programmers”, but their actual main profession may be revealed once you contact them.
Further additional information may be mentioned as you contact with us.
Acquiring a Developer, and its Rules
Once you’ve got a developer on your hands, make sure that they know what you’re going to let them do. You may also allow them to work on your place via Team Create.
There isn’t really anything else, just make sure that you and our developer has something to do with developing projects.
But that’s not all. Of course, there are also some rules that you must follow with our developers.
Like you, they also have different personalities, so please treat them kindly and politely.
Please specify what kind of work that you want our developer to do.
Please cooperate with them, they aren’t the only ones that should finish your work.
If there are any problems, this goes through the lead developers or me.
And lastly, please enjoy our time with our developers, as a developer having fun, makes the project fun as well.
Closing Information
After reading all of those, there are a few things that we would like to mention.
We do not intend to make a profit out of this, as we think that the DIS will improve your, and our development capabilities, especially when it comes to working with other developers.
Although, we do accept donations, and we would gladly appreciate it, but you can also spend it on something else, really.
This development service is more intended to those who are having a hard time cooperating or those who are starting up with team-developed projects.
And lastly, if you want to join our development group, we readily have open arms.
We’ll try not to give you excruciating jobs, as we are usually laid-off.
Once you’ve read all of that, you now may inquire a developer in our group.
This may be updated in the future, as it looks a bit cramped and messy.
