This is only one aspect of the game, but it is just really nice to look back and see how much your game has grown, and I can’t wait to see the future for it.
Nostalgia is a complicated feeling. We all have felt it, but it’s different for everyone. Some people feel nostalgic to something, while others can’t even picture the feeling for that something. But one thing’s for sure, “them good ol’ days” is a common saying.
I just wish we can somehow preserve past creations like this and not have them be broken by engine updates. I wasn’t around back then (my account, not me IRL LOL), but skateboards were apparently a huge deal back then, however, I’ve heard that they’re kind of broken now.
I, for myself, just visited my past abandoned projects, and I’m honestly kind of impressed with myself. I was better at doing X than I remembered I was. I don’t have an actual game, but I can almost imagine the feeling of it evolving over a long span of time.
The past only remains in our memories, and as much as we wish we can visit it, we cannot.
I can see you made a vast improvement for one year’s worth. I always like how people go back to their build they created a while ago, and compare it to what they’ve done in the present, really nice job!
