So i have been working on a game for past months and its basicly done however issue apears when someone has a smaller render quallity so some stuff are not loaded at all. This results in game breaking up fully. Is there a way to keep the whole map loaded at all times no matter how far the player/client is from something?
Make sure workspace.StreamingEnabled is false.
A simple solution would be to just disable workspace.StreamingEnabled however this will make your game a lot harder to run on lower end devices. I suggest you read on how to properly work with instance streaming
https://create.roblox.com/docs/workspace/streaming
Additionally, if your game breaks when a client has a lower render distance (E.g. on low end devices like phones) I think the game has a design issue which needs to be resolved over anything else.
its just parts being further than the client can load them leading to when a script tries to find a part it just cant
ill take a look into this then see what i can do
from what i see i can make only the important parts loaded at all times? basicly only the ones that have something to do with the scripts and ones that are just decorative can be unloaded?
Exactly! Using ModelStreamingMode you can choose how/when the model will be loaded/unloaded.
This video makes it more clear how each mode works in case you don’t fully understand it yet.
This helped alot, thank both of You for helping me with this one!
