Lag spikes after extended gameplay session in Prison Life

While playing Prison Life for approximately 30–60 minutes, the game began experiencing significant lag spikes.
I recorded Roblox MicroProfiler captures during the session. The performance degradation appears to start after extended gameplay.
The attached MicroProfiler files show the CPU and rendering performance during the lag spikes.

What leads you to believe this is an engine issue? This is more than likely a result of a recent update to the game including a memory leak, which is something the dev would have to fix. Unless this is reproducible across multiple experiences, I wouldn’t classify this as a bug

I’m little confused, is this Roblox Client’s fault or just the game not optimized?

Do not listen to Roman, he does not know what he is talking about.

do you like them react-lua coregui? hope you do so, our dear short span attention sab player!

recently, ive been on training game for a braindead “roleplay” powerhunger admin abuse simulator group with like 150 people in a server. opening and closing leaderboard (tab) repeatedly caused same huge lag spikes as mentioned in post you’re referring to.

i cant really imagine what type of nasa hardware we will have to use in near future to run roblox smoothly.

Yeah, and most of the people who have done tests and posted about it have really good CPUs. However, this happens on all platforms. My friend mentioned, “It’s like the Windows 11 start menu; it uses React Native.”

Even that Roblox chat, if you hover over it on and off it will lag. Espeically with a lot of text in chat. Scroll wheel also has a part in it.
