Why is the camera in Roblox Studio so laggy?
I tried switching to a different graphics API, as suggested in other posts, but it didn’t help. I then downloaded a plugin called SmoothCam, which made the camera smoother. However, Sometimes it works perfectly, and other times it doesn’t.

I just discovered something: opening the toolbox seems to fix the issue.
are you running on a lower end system?
if so im pretty sure the performance boost from opening toolbox is from the viewport getting smaller, thus being less intense to render

That’s the main reason why I don’t use camera plugins.
Try removing the plugin to see if that resolves it.
