Large space between lines of code created

The picture above shows the bug I’m experiencing where a large amount of space is created between lines of code, this happens rarely to me and I haven’t noticed anything I’m doing that could be causing it and the amount of space is not consistent each time it happens.

System Information:
AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS
16GB DDR5 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU

Edit: I pressed back space to bring line 21 back up to line 20 and then i pressed enter to bring it back and the bug happened

Can you attempt to reproduce it again and record it to make the reproduction easier for roblox staffs?

I’m unable to do this as the issue is very unpredictable as I said in my post i haven’t noticed anything that causes it

I think this happens when using auto complete @Sindious? That’s when I’ve encountered this issue at least…

Thank you for filing this issue. Can you try to turn off the “Enable Code-Assist” setting and see if this is still happening?

Hi @Sindious,

This is a UI bug from Code Assist, and we’re currently working on it. We already have one reproducible case and are working on a fix. If you discover any other way to reproduce it, please let us know.

As a temporary workaround, you can try closing and reopening the Script Editor tab — that should resolve the spacing issue for now.

We’re also actively working to improve the quality of Code Assist, so please give a try and we’d really appreciate any suggestions or feedback you have!
