Hi, everybody! This is a re-post of the old Leaderboard Service V1. I have improved it a lot since then, and I think it is finally ready for release!

Leaderboard Service

Leaderboard Service is a custom leaderboard made by me (heavily inspired by the PLS DONATE leaderboard.)

I’ve decided to remake it for myself and I think I did a pretty good job, so I am deciding to make it open source for anyone on the Roblox community to use!

Why should you use Leaderboard Service?

Leaderboard Service is open sourced and comes with a configuration you can customise to your liking. This also supports leaderstats that constantly update so your players know when they reach 1,000,000 chicken nugget currency.

What should I do if I find a bug?

If you find any bugs, please report them as soon as possible to me. All you need to do is specify the bug you are facing by replying to this post. The faster you report, the faster I fix the bugs.

Can I test this system anywhere?

Yes, you can! There is a Roblox game that will be uncopylocked that you can join or download / edit. The link should be at the very bottom.

What should I do if I have a suggestion?

If you have a suggestion for my leaderboard system, it is a very similar process to the reporting bugs process. Just reply with your suggestion and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

What does Leaderboard Service support?

Leaderboard Service sadly only supports up to 2 leaderstat values. Hopefully, this can be increased in the feature.

pretty cool, seems to be an issue with the states as when i click on a player on the leaderboard and it shows the options to view their avatar or unfriend them and whatnot, when i hide the leaderboard with the tab key, i seem to have to click on a player twice instead of once now

Not sure if you’re still updating this or not love the leaderboard but there is one problem, when I use it, it only displays about 8 people and any number after that it just does not display anyone. I don’t know if this is just my user error or if it’s a bug

You can scroll down, it displays some so it doesn’t go down to the bottom of your screen

The link works fine for me - I never got the chance to ever update the leaderboard, but it’s open sourced so you can always customise it yourself

I understand thats the core intent but it will ONLY display 8 before not displaying the leaderboard at all

edit: atleast the one from the model on the marketplace it works fine on the uncopylocked game

This may be an issue with your server, as I’m pretty sure Roblox was down at this time.

Hey, I love this idea, but there are a few features I would like you to consider. Without these, the module won’t work for my needs:

Automatic Stat Detection: Have stats automatically added by watching for a leaderstats folder in player instances.
Team Indicators: Add a visual indicator for teams in the leaderboard. This could be a frame displaying the team color, team name, and the total of any integer stats for the players on that team.

If you add team indicators, I would also love the ability to toggle ‘empty’ teams off (hiding teams with no players) while still retaining the proper team order when players are assigned to them.

Custom Player Interactions: Provide easy accessibility for adding custom interaction buttons for players. Having this functionality would be a game changer for this module.

Hi all, I released this for fun some months ago, but I recently made a decision no longer have plans to update Leaderboard Service as I have come to pursue future projects.

The uncopylocked game has been privated but a download to the place will be linked below if you need it.
