Hey,
currently we’re faced with an unfamiliar problem with StreamingEnabled, where all our models with StreamingMesh disappear outside the StreamingTargetRadius instead of creating an lower resolution mesh.
We tested our models on a copy of the place without scripts and on a baseplate with the same StreamingEnabled properties.
On a simple baseplate, the models behave as usual, creating an lower resolution:
At first, the models on the map copy appear to behave as usual, creating an lower resolution. Initially, I thought the scripts would interfere with the models, but after playtesting again, StreamingEnabled unexpectedly broke again without any changes made. The same issues are now being displayed as in the main place which is very frustating. Hence, I now believe its really inconstant right now:
Furthermore, older versions of the main place and copy showed the same issues with StreamingEnabled. We have tried to play around the values and properties like RenderingCacheOptimization and MeshStreamingAndImprovedLOD, but there were no differences.
Even if the models are loaded inside the StreamingMinRadius box of the player, there are few meshes and parts completely missing, creating very ugly visible holes.
