Life after getting a "Directing Users Off-Platform" warning

Hi! I recently released my first Roblox game. Unfortunately, in-game, I had links in attribution, which presumably led to getting a “Directing Users Off-Platform” warning (AI message said that my entire place was an offensive item)

I messaged support to explain the situation and get confirmation that I fixed the problem, but 5 days later, I still didn’t get a response. I deleted all links from the game and code, and believe I fixed the problem. Now I want to make the game public again. My questions are:

  1. Will this warning affect Roblox ads effectiveness?
  2. How dangerous might it be to release the game in my case?

Directing users off-platform is usually given when eg a Discord invite or website link has been found in your game during review. Also barcodes and QR codes fall under this category.

If you’re certain the links have been removed, you can publish your game without any negative impact. Afaik there’s no discovery penalty for low-severity issues like these.

Thanks for the answer! I actually tried to make the game public, completed the questionnaire again. But now I have this warning in Creator Hub (which I didn’t have before):
"Your experience is not playable due to recent policy changes.
Please read our Developer Forum post and appeal if you think this this policy does not apply to this experience". Learn more: Strengthening Our Safety Policies and Tools

Even though I can change the access settings and make the game public, it doesn’t appear in the games list, and no one can access it.
So, I guess the only thing I can do is to make a new appeal and wait for support to review it?

Does your game contain suggestive content or is it a hangout with private spaces? Has the Questionnaire been rejected earlier?

The warning you see is likely not related to the “Directing Users Off-Platform” warning, but rather about a different policy issue. FYI, you need to be ID verified & 17+ yourself to answer questions about private spaces / adult settings.

  1. No, not at all. No violence, 18+, blood or anything like that, no hangout spaces either. Just an arcade PvP arena.
  2. I completed the questionnaire without any problems before warning. After the warning, I was required to complete it again. And I did it today without issues.
  3. My profile is verified and 17+

In questionnaire: “Questionnaire Completed
The content maturity label for this experience is now active and visible to users on its experience detail page. This experience is automatically unavailable in any non-compliance regions below.

I’ve read the post with the rules again. But I don’t have any idea how my game might break any of that. And the only warn was about “Directing Users Off-Platform”.

In my game characters can shoot RPG, there are cars that can hit you. But it’s not violent or bloody, and I use standart Roblox break joints thing for death.
Can it be considered as violence?

they didn’t reply because it takes 3-4 weeks for them to respond

I also had a game with Roblox’ weapon kit getting rejected recently, no blood or anything and just a simple ragdoll on a blocky character.

Still, this seems to fall under violence moderate/repeated, which gives a 9+ rating now (used to be higher).

I see you currently have no descriptors for any kind of violence so that’ll probably get flagged / slow down review (arcade PvP is still violence).

But I guess it’s also just a waiting game to get them to remove the label from your experience. If you haven’t launched yet, you could also publish it as new game to make sure you’re not negatively impacted in any way.

Ok, thanks! I will try to label it with mild violence. Copy the game and republish it again sounds like a 5head move. Is Roblox fine with that? It actually sounds like a solution, because my game wasn’t live even for one day. I don’t really lose anything.
