Lift some language restrictions from voice chat

now, from the topic of this post it doesn’t seem the best, but let me explain

me and my friend were both playing a game with voice chat as something an enemy would use to find you, and we didnt get to play it because we both got suspended for cussing, which neither of us really keep mind of at all, and we risk getting accounts deleted because of it

we are both the same age and thats verified with each of our phone numbers, so i think SOME language restrictions should be lifted. stuff like being able to cuss as long as its not excessive or has an offensive meaning behind the word used should be allowed as it is unavoidable in several cases

i think its kind of unfair if you get your vc suspended or account deleted just because you unconsciously use language you normally would outside of roblox. cause literally every vc player ive seen cusses using it, which is probably a pretty high percentage of older roblox players

I don’t use voice chat because I cuss too much when I speak.

It’s just a cultural norm.

i only really cuss to emphasise things or add a slight bit of comedic value to something if it fits

but thats an issue since that happens quite often, and i dont have even a semblance of a filter for when it comes to following the tos of a platform. and tmk roblox is the only platform to have any language restrictions for vc.

even rec room (a game more full of under 18s than roblox) has very lenient language restrictions and only get mad at you if its an offensive word youre using or if its aimed at someone else. like they should just expect it, a bunch of teenagers and adults being given access to an unfiltered way of chatting are obviously going to cuss

I agree with this some cursing should be allowed as long it isnt targeted to someone else but it should be properly moderated since sometimes i see users saying some pretty bad stuff and when you submit a report nothing happens so yes this is a good option after roblox fixes their ai moderation or whatever first.

I live in a funny situation, I’ve never been banned from Voice Chat despite cussing on a word-ly basis, it’s really stupid sometime when I clearly say a heavy cuss word after one of my friends say it, and I come out walking fine whilst the other faces a day of ban.
