PS5 users have reported that the game becomes excessively dark during nighttime. They are unable to see nearby objects that remain clearly visible on other devices, despite visibility previously working correctly when the game launched on PS4.
Players have also reported seeing distracting “red stars” in the night sky.
I have reviewed gameplay footage submitted by PS5 users, and the nighttime visibility appears to make the game almost unplayable.
Expected behavior
When the lighting changes to nighttime, visibility should remain reasonable. The game should not appear excessively dark or become difficult to play on PS5.
