Hello, I recently bought a limited item on the catalog for 100,000 Robux, the item in question was: Daemonshank - Roblox
Immediately after purchasing the item, It was removed from my inventory, and I did not receive any of the Robux back. I checked my transactions and I apparently sold the item immediately after purchasing it. Not only is this impossible because limited items need to be held for 7 days after purchase, but I also do not have premium subscription, which would make it impossible for me to sell any items.
Screenshots for evidence:
Expected behavior
I expect me to buy the item for 100,000 Robux, get the item to my account, and have the Robux removed from my account.

If I had to guess what happened here, it looks like you tried to purchase a valuable limited item at half its usual price. The item’s average value is around 200K, but you managed to buy it for 100K.
As most people know, on Roblox there are programs specifically designed to instantly buy limited items the moment they’re listed at unusually low prices. These systems are widely used, and that likely explains the situation here — it seems both of you attempted to purchase the item at the same time, and Roblox got confused by the overlap.
Both transactions were recorded in the same minute (and if we looked closer, they may have even occurred in the same nanosecond), which rules out most other scenarios for me.
I could see this being the case, but not “in a nanosecond”, immediately after reloading the page I saw I owned it, but on the next refresh I didn’t. Regardless, this shouldn’t be happening however close one purchase is from the other. People should either purchase the item in exchange for their robux, or have the transactions cancelled, but keep their robux. Not getting the item AND losing 100,000 robux is just a punch in the gut.
Thanks for the report. We have assigned to our team for further review…
