LinearVelocity knockback is laggy but not to the recipient of the knockback, only to the person doing it

I made a punch knockback script that I got to work but it appears laggy to the player punching, and not to the player being punched, I tried setting the networkownership to nil like most topics suggest but it just ends up glitching my character

gave up and used bodyvelocity instead, no lag anymore :sob:, of course theres still lag but it’s not choppy like before
