Link titles broken with new documentation site

The page titles in the new documentation sites do not include info about a linked header.

This has made some old posts of mine confusing to read. For example this post.

That used to read as

Can you just use Tool.Grip? It’s a CFrame.

And now reads, without my editing, as:

Can you just use Tool | Roblox Creator Documentation? It’s a CFrame.

Is it possible to include the /Grip heading information in that rendered link? Perhaps as Tool.Grip | Roblox Creator Documentation ?

I realize this is an incredibly nitpicky complaint!

You can just edit your message for it to be Tool.Grip.
How to do this:
When you are about to type your link, don’t. Just click the link button and optional title will be the message displayed.

Without Optional Title: Tool | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub

With Optional Title: Tool.Grip

If you do type the word, just select it and do the same steps.

Thanks for the reply! I am aware of this feature and actually used it in my original report.

My issue is that there are many old answers that people still find which relied on the old behavior to be readable. After the behavior change, they are not.

Indeed I could go through all my old posts and edit raw links, but that would take a lot of my time, and wouldn’t fix others’ old posts.

Hello @nicemike40, thank you for reaching out. Your bug report actually describes the expected behavior for links, which is due to all properties and methods now living on the class page itself. I’ll pass your feedback about dynamic context over to the team, thanks again!
