* RBXDev members will have (View/Post)
* Non-RBXDev members read only in the public section.
Today we're excited to announce new changes to the dev-forums focused on providing developers outside of the forum with information that was previously unavailable. In order to help all developers on Roblox we will be moving some sections of the forum to the public space. The list is as follows:
- Combine and move tutorials to their own section
- Feature Requests
- Platform Support
What this means for you?
When these sections become public there will be stricter moderation on the categories in accordance with the previously posted public rules. Please ensure you are comfortable with any post you have made in these sections being shared with the public. These changes will go live on May, 16th to give everyone time to prepare for the change.
Please make sure to go over the rules of the dev forums:
Clarification on Public Section Lock
The public section of the forum has not gone private, but there has been a temporary change in how guests can view content. Previously guests to the forum were shown the public sections before logging in. This was never intended to be the case. Now users are required to login before viewing content. The public section is still open to all 13+ users who visit the forum, but logging in is now a requirement.
