Loading character appearance without humanoids? [ R15 ]

I’m interested in writing my own character loader, that doesn’t require the use of ruins-everything humanoids. I’ve heard of people texturing custom characters with shirts and pants, but is it possible to recreate every part of the character without humanoids?

I’m talking: Accessories, heads, bundles, clothes, body colors.

I want to use animation controllers, and not have to worry about the weird behavior of humanoids. Does anyone have any insight to share for this?

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY WITH “WAYS TO FIX HUMANOIDS”. THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT.
They are inherently flawed, and I do not want them at all.

Yea they have their own instance names. Heads however are simply meshes with decals while bundles are how the mesh is constructed.
