Loading screen always freezes when I try to join a VIP server from someone else

Ever since this morning, I have been unable to join any VIP server a person is in, since the loading screen will always freeze on the game client.

This happens 100% all the time, and it is very infuriating for me.

Steps to repro:

  1. Join any VIP server where a person is currently in
  2. You should be able to see the loading screen freezing

This has been happening to me and some others as well, but only some of the time from my personal experience. It seems to vary by person.
