You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:
-
What do you want to achieve? I want to fix this issue of the loading screen
-
What is the issue? The loading screen does not completely cover the screen for a specific friend of mine.
-
What solutions have you tried so far? I’ve tried ticking on the ClipsDescendants setting in the Frames I guess but that’s really all I did, I’ve never encountered any bugs like this before
After that, you should include more details if you have any. Try to make your topic as descriptive as possible, so that it’s easier for people to help you!
Details:
It was discovered through one playtest session and although there’s a small chance that it could just be his device, I’m afraid it might affect other devices too
Here’s a video of what the loading screen is supposed to look like:
And here’s what it looks like on his end (Discord screenshot):
I wanted it to have a cool effect with the studs in the background where it would shuffle different colors before settling with a dark-light ish blue color so I placed a UIListLayout object within a Frame that has a Size of 1,0,1,0 (Supposedly covering the whole screen) and placed a bunch of stud images there until it fills up the whole frame, here’s what it looks like in studio:
But going back to that Discord screenshot, it seems like the last row of studs is completely invisible, so it’s not an issue of frame scaling but rather a couple of frames disappearing for some reason.
I also used Test to change the resolution to 1920x1080, supposedly the resolution of my friend’s device but the loading screen doesn’t seem to be showing the same visual bug, just fully covers the screen like normal.
Has anybody else experienced something like this? What can I do? I’m very confused.
