Loadstring usage on client

Would using loadstring() in my game for a way to run code on the client to test my anti-cheat go against TOS and get me banned?

And this would be tested in studio, using the console gets annoying as its all in one line.

Well it depends.
If you are using a modified client to use loadstring, then yes.
If you are using a UI that you build into the game and then using loadstring from a localscript (no modified client), then it should be fine.

I’m not sure if you can directly run loadstring from the client anyway, so you may need to add a third party loadstring module. (just remove it afterwards, in case it contains a backdoor)

Alright I will do that, thank you!

well for one it says on multiple sources that loadstring() appears to be for server use only but there’s probably a way around it.

if the string you’re loading contains malicious content then yes u could get banned. as for anti-cheats i’m not too experienced in that area but if i was u i would use an alternative account to test things out!

roblox has LoadStringEnabled disabled by default in ServerScriptService which kinda tells me that they feel strongly against people using it but yeah!

it seems that multiple sources are saying that it can only be used by the server from what i gathered.
