Localization CSV Input Error

Hello,

I am reporting an issue with the Roblox localization system where uploading a CSV file causes previously translated data to be lost and prevents updated translations from being applied.

In our case, strings captured in-game were automatically translated using the Roblox localization system. After downloading the localization data as a CSV file, we modified some of the translations and uploaded the file again. However, during this process, the strings that had originally been auto-translated in the Cloud Localization Table were uploaded as empty fields in the CSV. As a result, in-game, most strings became empty and defaulted back to the source language (English), with only the manually edited entries remaining visible.

We then filled in the empty fields in the CSV and attempted to upload it again, but the updated translations were not recognized or applied, and no changes were reflected in-game.

This behavior suggests that the CSV upload process is not preserving existing translation data and is also failing to properly apply updated values.

Could you please look into this issue or advise on how to resolve it?

Thank you.

Hi! Sorry you are running into this problem.

Would it be possible to share with me the Downloaded CSV, the CSV after your modification, and a link to your experience?

If you are not comfortable with sharing your translation data, you can privately message them to me.

I tried to send a personal message, but I’m having trouble.

Could you please send me a separate message?
