Roblox lock tool used to let me lock/unlock multiple parts at a time if they were in the same folder. Now it only allows me to lock/unlock parts one at a time regardless of which folder it’s in, which makes it annoying when trying to edit maps in roblox studio.
I have tried resetting studio layout & reinstalling and it doesn’t fix the issue. I haven’t heard of anyone else with this issue so I’m confused if it’s a new studio thing or just a problem on my device. It’s been like this for months for me & if anyone knows how to fix it I would appreciate it
do you remember a specific update/time when this happened? i can check the changelog for you
the way it worked it’s if I locked one part, every other part sharing the folder of the one I clicked would be locked. but now it will only lock the part I select (will not lock other parts in the same folder), and there is no way for me to do multiple at a time
oh wow, maybe roblox thought of that as some sort of bug? i could suggest joining every part together as a model grouping, as you can select all of the parts within the grouping as one piece. you can lock them, then ungroup them and group them as a folder and it SHOULD leave all of the parts locked. I am sorry about this!

yeah hopefully roblox fixes the actual tool soon but in the meantime this works too

yeah ! i honestly think they mightve seen it as a bug tho with how folders work in general. i hope not!!
